Full job description After-school substitute teachers play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students once the regular school day ends. The Education Team is looking for after-school staff to assist at programs throughout the Glendale area, including Burbank, Eagle Rock, Atwater Village, and Los Feliz. Our after-school teachers support students in grades TK–8. Responsibilities may include: Supervising and ensuring the safety of students Assisting with or leading enrichment activities such as art, sports, STEM, and homework help Supporting program routines and helping maintain structure Encouraging positive behavior and participation Communicating effectively with site coordinators and program staff Schedule: Part-time, M-F - YOU CHOOSE WHICH DAYS! 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM on minimum days 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on at least two regular days per week Requirements for After-School Substitute Teachers: HS Diploma Minimum but if you have an AA or a BA you earn more! Ability to pass a Live Scan Negative TB required prior to hire Experience working with children preferred, but not required Why Join The Education Team?
